Marked on the back with "HB QUIMPER FRANCE entiermon decore main (entierly decorated by hand)" and the form number, decore number and the initials of the artist "F_6.23 . D. 590 RV". This plate has a cream background and is totally hand painted featuring a man in traditional dress holding a few flowers he may be bringing to his beloved. It has a wonderfully colorful border with hand painted red and blue flowers with green leaves. The plate rim edge is sponge painted in green, just lovely.
