This is a clump of three mushrooms in shades of purples and browns, with some pale green grass at the mushrooms' bases. They are on a brown clump of earth and a creature has taken a little nibble revealing the cream interior.* 2.5" x 2.25"* "Calocybe Ionides" - scientific nameSculpted out of white earthenware clay, I used three different mushroom reference guides. I etched the mushroom species on the bottom as well as signed along the bottom edge. These were painted with underglaze and then fired. Next a warm brown stain was applied to the base, while clear glaze was applied to the mushrooms and grass. Although one-of-a-kind, the number 2 etched in the bottom indicates this is the second clump of this kind mushroom I sculpted.Thisitem comes from a smoke-free home.?
