We are pleased to offer this beautiful pair of antique bronze Judaic bible figures created by Louis C Rosenthal. Rosenthal (1888-1964) was a Russian-born sculptor who came to Baltimore at age 19 to attend the Maryland Institute College of Art. Rosenthal is most well-known for his miniature bronzes, often depicting neo-classical, metaphysical or Judaica figures. In this pair we are offering Isaiah and Elijah, from a series of prophets that Rosenthal created in the 1940's. They each measure approximately 2 3/8 inches tall and are in excellent condition.
