Antique Mayan Snuff Bowl Figurine Central America Artifact - $88 - (Ashland, OR)

My understanding is that it is old and was used as a snuff applicator by holding the ring in back like a little cup. The inside seems to be lava rock. Looks like it used to have a gold coating. 3" tall.
