Exquisitely Painted Miniature Persian Polo Game Painting on Thin Panel - $200 - (Benton, KS)

Finely painted figural scene with horsemen playing polo and a pitched tent in the background. This is highly detailed and colorful miniature painting done on what looks like faux ivory, edged with floral panels matte, and framed beautifully in an elaborately decorated inlaid frame, circa 19th century. Dimensions: Frame - 8 1/4" x 6 1/8"; Sight - 3 3/4" x 2 1/8" Condition of the painting is excellent but the frame has a teeny-tiny loss of inlaid strip on the top right top corner that is hardly noticeable, so also is the chip on the glass at the same top right corner but it is internal, also hardly noticeable.
