JBL D-140F Bass Speaker 8 - 16 Ohms - $185 - (Portage, WI)

Up for sale is a JBL D-140F speaker. This has been the go to speaker of choice for guitarists going back to before Woodstock. The Fender Showman and Vibroverbs were probably the most notable amps that these iconic speakers were installed in.This speaker has been packed away for a number of years. As you can tell from the pictures it has been re coned. (stamped on cone WHF 5516) WHF = Waldom High Fidelity.I am about 99.9% sure that it has never been hooked up since being re coned. The cork gasket doesn't even look like it has been compressed. I am unable to check anything besides ohms because I have no equipment anymore. It should be just fine but it is being sold "As Is"
