The V600 provides variable power over a 3F stop range up to the full 600 watt-seconds. All V600 power packs manufactured since September 2001 are digital ready ("V600D") and have higher powered modeling lamp support. "D" units have enhanced lower voltage camera sync circuitry that makes them compatible with most digital cameras currently on the market. These packs also have a second circuit breaker dedicated to the modeling lamps and are designated as Series II. This second breaker allows these units to handle up to 250 watt modeling lamps for fan-cooled flash heads (1000 watts total modeling lamp power per unit).
