It is from an1879 edition of Adolf Stieler's Schul-Atlas Uber alle Theile der Erde published in Gotha by Justus Perthes. A copy of the title page is included for authenticity. The publisher is shown on the map in the bottom margin and the name of the atlas is in the upper right corner. The map is not mounted nor matted, being sold as a single sheet as seen in the first pic. These are the smaller maps from the school atlas, we also have some of the larger Stieler maps from the Hand Atlas in other listings. Size: The map image measures approximately 8 by 11 inches on a 12 by 9 1/4" page as seen in the pic with a margin all around for framing as seen in the main pic. Condition: The map is in Good condition with overall tonal aging, basically as seen in the pics, blank on the reverse with original hand coloring and a centerfold as issued. There is some light handling around the margins, light wear around the edges, the centerfold has been reinforced on the reverse with some minor paper loss along the fold at the bottom of Greece.
