1930 Ford Model A Car-Tractor built From Autotrac Otaco Coversion KIt What did you do back in the Depression years when you didn't have the money to buy a tractor? One farmer took his old Model A and bought an Otaco (Made in Canada) Conversion Kit and turned his car into this tractor. The Otaco kits were made circa 1939 and sold for 150 to 300 dollars. The first photo is a bit misleading--it is a photo taken in the early 1970's after the Otaco was first purchased and repainted. The Tractor came from an old farm, now under Lake Arthur. It has been parked in a shed for many years since the death of the owner, but is now being sold as part of an estate. This was in running condition when parked, but it has been years since.
