1900's Antique Quarter Sawn Oak Fireplace Mantel Oval Mirror Plaster Capitols - $2,195 - (Braidwood, IL)
M33054 This is an estate find, from right around the turn of the century, early 1900's. It is a Quarter sawn oak mantel mantle with beautiful flaking of the wood grain, that has plaster capitols and corbel shelf supports, oval shaped and 2" beveled mirror that just sparkles in the light, applied carvings at each corner of the mirror. The columns extend the height of the mantel, and they sit on an octagon shaped base. There is fancy pressed design trim under the mantel shelf. Mirror is in good condition, not losing the silver backing. Mantel has a height of 7ft 6 1/2" tall, overall width is 60" and firebox measures 39 " tall x 41 1/2" wide, has a depth of 12" and sits flush against the wall. Illinois buyers must pay 7% sales tax.
