MOUNTAIN MAN RACCOON FUR CAP - $65 - (Libby, MT)
This is a new hand sewn mountain man fur cap made of tanned raccoon pelts. This hat has an adjustable tie in back and will fit head sizes 7" to 8". The front of this hat has a thick light brown leather bill with a hand stamped design on the edge. The front is finished with an antler button that has a bear track and a small hat feather. The inside of this hat has a hand sewn wool liner with a leather sweat band on the front, thus making it a winter hat if desired. This cap does not have ear flaps. My caps are totally sewn by hand, one at a time. This hat will go well with any fur trade era costume, re-enactments, rendevous, or maybe on the ski slopes as well.
