Kramer Bros, Antique Cast Iron Garden urn made in Dayton Ohio. This cast iron urn dates from the Victorian period c1880 and was made by the Kramer Bros. Fdy. Co. Dayton, Ohio. Kramer was a top foundry in the American Victorian period. To find a urn that has it's original base is very rare. The makers mark is cast into the base THE KRAMER BROS. FDY. CO. DAYTON O. This cast iron garden urn measure 34" wide from the outside edge of the handle to the outside edge of the opposite handle. The top is 21-1/4" in diameter. The overall height of this antique urn is 29" high (from the bottom of the base to the top of the handles) and the base measures 16-1/2" square by 9" high. The urn is in excellent condition with no known breaks or other damage. The "S" scroll handles are detachable when the handle bolts are removed. The base also separates from the urn portion. There is a factory drain hole in the urn so that it does not need to be tipped over for draining(see picture of backside of urn)Local Pickup only.
