2.3 oz. of "Yooperlite" Beauty! Like Lava Bursting from inside! Lake Superior Sodalite-rich Syenite Clast, from the Upper (Yooper) Peninsula of Michigan. Pictures were taken by Convoy 365Nm Ultra Violet Flashlight. Please use a similar light to brighten and reveal the sodalite inclusions within these clasts. There are a lot of lights out there, they will produce a different looking color. I've seen purple, orange, pink, yellow, white, blue all from the same stone depending on the light quality. The stone was dry in the photos, the last photos were taken under natural lighting. Wet or polished stones appear brighter and more gem like.
