(Mechelen, Belgium). Issued London: c 1730-40; for Tindal. Engraved by Basire. Fine antique folio sheet engraved city plan printed in the early 18th century. Engraved with lovely full hand color. The birds-eye perspective depicts hundreds of individual houses and buildings, as well as the original street plan and early fortified walls. In Good+ condition, light minor age wear, inoffensive old creasing, but overall remaining clean and visually attractive. Pleasing age patina. Sheet measures c. 21" W x 16 1/2" H.
