Vintage Japan Wind-Up KNITTING CAT in Box & Battery Operated Knitting Cat - $40 - (Scotrun, PA)

Here's the deal. The 6" tall wind-up Knitting Cat in its original box is in GOOD CONDITION and it WORKS WELL. The box is in okay shape with some wear including a puncture in the box top. The 8 1/2" tall battery operated Knitting Cat is DEAD, DEAD, DEAD! One of the tabs in the battery box is broken off as you can see in my last photo and that is probably part of the problem.
