Antique Cast Iron Bell Heavy Bell Rare Side Handle Large Clapper - $75 - (Merrimack, NH)

This heavy cast iron bell has an unusual side handle. What makes this handle so unique is that it has no holes for bolts hanging and is self-standing. The large clapper offers a loud ring. Measures 6" wide at bottom, 4 1/2" high, top portion of bell is approx. 2 1/2" across. Handle curves down to bottom of bell and has an indented middle. Top has a large bolt to hold handle on. Clapper is 3 1/2" long with a ring a bottom which probably was for tying a rope for ringing. Bell is in very good condition with minor pitting and dings some tarnish inside bell. All items in my shop are vintage or antique and I do my best to describe them but, please look at pictures carefully. All items are as found.
