Vintage Heart Shaped Pin Cushion Tulip Design - $55 - (Chesapeake, VA)
This light orange velvet pin cushion is heart shaped with beaded tulips in the middle. The teal blue corners are a less plushy velvet like material. There is beading all around the sides and dangly beading on the bottom. The pin cushion measures approx 6 inches wide at widest point and 5 tall from middle of heart to bottom point of heart. There are a few spots of wear to the velvet I tried to picture--most of the pictures are just lighting issues and the way the velvet is brushed. It looks like the wear is where pins were inserted at one time. I don't know what it is packed with--it is hard but does not feel like sawdust--not sure. Buyer to pay within 3 days of auction's end.
