Vintage Heavily Beaded Star Shaped Pin Cushion Squat Bird Quail Duck Leaves - $88 - (Chesapeake, VA)
This salmon pink star shaped pin cushion depicts some kind of bird in the middle with heavily beaded leaves. The pin cushion is approx. 5.5 inches wide to widest point. As you can see there are several spots of worn fabric on the front. I would surmise that one of the points of the stars is missing its dangly beads, but I purchased it this way. There are some beads missing to the bird's body and you can see some string there. The back is faded and spotting. This feels like it is packed with sawdust or similar material.
