1938 Decatur,Macon Co. Illinois Political Poster, Cora Ryman, World War I Widow - $69 - (Decatur, IL)

1938 heavy poster promoting Cora B. Ryman for Macon County (including Decatur), Illinois for reelection to the post of Superintendent of Schools includes also a Macon County School Directory for 1927-1928 with her name on the front. Mrs. Ryman was widowed when her husband was killed serving in World War I. She returned to Decatur to teach and raise and educate her three children who had outstanding careers. The poster with worn edges was saved in a frame with 19-1/2" X 15-1/2" external dimensions. The framed political poster is neatly backed and wired for hanging.
