96 800x600 Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE Here for your consideration is a magnificent, matched pair of extremely rare and highly collectable, Moorcroft, Quiet Waters, 10" baluster vases, designed by Philip Gibson. The Moorcroft Quiet Waters baluster vases were designed in 2002 and first introduced in 2003. Please take time to look at all 12 photos, to fully appreciate the quality of workmanship in these fabulous vases. Please also note, my photos are picking up some white light reflection. The base of these stunning vases have the impressed Moorcroft Made in Stoke-on-Trent, England stamps, certified 2002 with nib symbols denoting 2003. Both vases also have designer Philip Gibson's initials stamped in black. The first vase has the tube-liners initials HS for Hayley Grocott Smith (1995-2005) and the painters initials Ph for Paul Hilditch. The second vase has the tube-liners initials VT for Vicky Thorley (1998-present) and the painters initials LB for Laura Blight (1998-2003). A fabulous matched pair of Moorcroft vases, that have no chips, cracks, scratches, damage or crazing. Just a really stunning extremely rare pair of Moorcroft pottery (first quality) vases. These Moorcroft cylindrical baluster vases, decorated in the iconic Quiet Waters pattern, depict three highly coloured Shubunkins on each vase, all with slight variations, two facing down and one up, against a muted cream and blue ground. A real modernist take with regards fish, water and flowers. The detailed colouring of these Shubunkins is just exquisite, real artistic workmanship, leading you to believe that at any minute, the six fish will emerge from out of these vases.Quiet Waters ... The inspiration for the Quiet Waters design was taken from the red and white Shubunkins that swim in Philip Gibson's garden pond.
