Vintage Chicago Land Survey Plot Lot Map Blueprint Crawford Chase L Krenn Dato B - $10 - (Aurora, IL)
I have a large lot of blueprint survey plot/lot maps from the Chicago area. The lot purchased was marked 'prior to 1930s". Be sure to check out my other listings, as I have about 40 of these for various neighborhoods. They range in size and neighborhood. All are folded, most have red crayon/grease pen that has filled in sold lots. Most have wear holes at the folds from rubbing on the other maps. Please review photos carefully for more details regarding condition. Some have writing on both sides, small tears, etc. From the Villa Turicum Blog: Edwin D. Krenn immediately was set up in real estate with a partner; Edward A. Dato, by Edith (or more accurately the Edith Rockefeller McCormick Trust) and the firm of Krenn & Dato was born. These gentlemen, and the real estate ventures associated with both would ultimately become Edith's financial undoing. Of course this all came to light after her death in 1932; for when she died she left only portions of her estate to her children: In her will she left Muriel four-twelfths, Mathilde two-twelfths, and Fowler only one-twelfth. The remainder she left to our Edwin Krenn, but this would be disputed later. This map measures approx. 24 1/2 by 18 3/4.
