First introduced in 1995, they continued until 1999, when Baby TY came along. Some of the Pillow Pals were released first in one color and then later in another. The eyes were embroidered for safety. The later Pillow Pals had larger eyes with a dash of white stitching for sparkle. The last releases changed from one or two solid colors to three and four more vibrant colors.
