From the Foire de Chatou, the large brocante held twice yearly on the outskirts of Paris for over a century. Antique, very heavy metal street sign from the 1910-1930s. Reads:”CHEMIN DE BELLE HOTESSE”, Translation:”Road of the beautiful hostess”. White background with black lettering, featuring a crest to the left side in colors of red, yellow, and white. Showing appropriate age related wear, nicely worn through with light chipping but still completely intact. Very sturdy construction. Dimensions : width including handles 14 inches;height 9.75 inches ;depth from front to back,8.75 inches Weight: 5 lbs, 9 ounces
