Since I do not own the equipment that the remote control goes to, Infrared remotes are tested by loading fresh batteries and pushing all buttons while looking at the infra red bulb light up through a digital camera. I sanitize each remote by wiping the remote control down with a Clorox wipe. My business model is to be the lowest priced remote control on eBay. In order to keep my costs to a minimum, I will be shipping your remote control in a padded envelope. I have shipped thousands of remote controls this way without an issue.
