1960 ALLAN DOLL lot Straight leg + bent leg Beach Jacket + Sandals + Malibu KEN - $25 - (Providence, RI)
Vintage ALLAN DOLL lot that includes two ALLAN - Ken's red-headed best Buddy dolls, and one Malibu KEN doll. There is one Allan doll with straight, solid legs, and one with legs that bend. Both are marked: "c. 1960 by Mattel Inc., Hawthorn Calif. USA" One comes in the original striped beach jacket with terry-cloth collar, and a pair of cork sandals. His trunks have gone missing (!) The Ken doll has bendable legs and is marked: "1088-0500 6 c. Mattel Inc., 1968 Hong Kong. All three dolls are in good condition overall. The bendy-leg Allan doll has light discoloration to the legs which is common with that sort of bendable plastic. Everything else looks fine.
