Beautiful, complete set of c1890's mottled Victorian fireplace mantle/hearth tile... This set of tiles makes a complete fireplace surround, it can be set up in several ways... In the pictured setup, without grout, it is approx. 37" tall x 36.25" wide, with an approx. 31" tall X 24.25" wide opening... It can be set up in other ways too... The tile has beautiful, deep, glossy, glaze colors in a unique Victorian colorway - mottled, deep emerald green with shades of turquoise in a marbled, mottled, malachite look... The tiles are marked Trent on back. They were manufactured by the Trent Tile Company in Trenton, NJ... The large full tiles are approx. 6" long with half tiles approx. 3" long, some shorter / longer... They are all approx. 1.5" tall. Some with edge chips, and approx. 16 of the 86 tiles split during deconstruction... As these 120+ year old tiles are reclaimed, Ho and vintage, they will have the expected, mortar bits / splits / chips / pits/ flea bites / paint / soot, etc...
