Vintage Spanish Toledo Ware Clip Earrings Double Hanging Globes Faux Damascene - $75 - (Nalcrest, FL)

This is a very beautiful example of Spanish Toledo ware earrings. The earrings are three dimensional and feature two beautifully detailed globes with enamel work in mint green, black and white. The earrings are set in gold-tone metal and the stamp "Spain" is on the back of the earrings. I would date these earrings to the 1940's. Toledo ware is another name for faux damascene so the earrings have enameled designs rather than inlaid metal. The earrings are screw backs and can be adjusted to your desired fit. The earrings measure 2 inches from top to bottom and the globes measures 0.5 inches across. The earrings are in great vintage condition with a few chips in the enameling. They look beautiful and decadent when worn.
