Tiyoda MKQ Folding Field Microscope Set In Case Made In Japan Vintage - $498 - (Lancaster, OH)

This is a Tiyoda MKQ Folding Field Microscope with original case and inspection paper. The Serial Number is 29275 which puts it manufacture date at late 1950 to early 1951*. The microscope is in 9.5/10 condition with just a slight scuff through the black paint as shown. The case is in good shape structurally with some staining on the backside. The key is missing. I’ve included pictures of everything contained in the case. There is a frosted white glass filter and a frosted blue glass filter both wrapped in rice paper. There is a small glass immersion oil vial. The inspection paper is intact, though there are some tears as shown in the picture. *New information regarding the lack of a “Made in Occupied Japan” stamp and the older style of the inspection card leads me to believe that it may have been made for use in Japan and not for export.* The microscope will be packed well and insured. I will ship to the continental US.
