Vintage Cast Aluminum Rooster Weathervane, 1960s Or Prior (?) - $100 - (Joshua Tree, CA)
This is a “buy it now” for a vintage cast aluminum rooster weathervane. I cannot find a website or images which can assist me in accurately dating the weathervane. I have seen numerous images of boxed/sealed rooster weathervanes from the 1970’s. These have less detail/quality. Therefore, this leads me to believe the weathervane is from the 1960’s or earlier. The weathervane has a height of about 34” and an arrow length of about 23”. The weathervane weighs about 4 pounds. The weathervane has paint loss, rust stains, and other conditions which exhibits age. The weathervane has no cracks or repairs. Please note that there are four mounting holes that you can see in the pictures. The weathervane will be disassembled for shipping. Please review the images which are part of the description.
