Antique Bannerette Weathervane Letter K, Church Topper - $1,750 - (Newtown, CT)

Large size and beautiful patina, this letter K bannerette weathervane comes from the Boston Massachusetts area. It is 66' high and 55' wide. There is a break to the top point held together by a dowel and repaired. One crease to the top ball and expected wear and color that dates from the late 1800s. The banner is 23" wide x 13.5" high and the flower is 4.24" x 4.25". On the top of the vane one of the decorative attachments was loose and is repaired. There is also some traces of gilding on the bottom edge of the bar.
