LOT OF 5 Antique 1800's New Wharf Pottery LANCASTER FLOW BLUE Saucers Cup Plates - $30 - (Twin Falls, ID)

Set of five, beautiful flow blue saucers or cup plates by New Wharf Pottery, Burslem, Staffordshire, England in their LANCASTER pattern. The Staffordshire Knot pottery mark dates these from 1891 to 1894. This pattern has a lovely floral design, a deep cobalt blue, a heavy "flow" through to the back side and a delicate embossing at the edges. They measure approx. 5 7/8" wide. Over 120 years old, these saucers are in very good antique condition with no crazing or repairs noted. Most have the expected stilt marks, occasional underglaze crumb from the kiln and minor surface marks from use. A gorgeous display! We examined each one and found the following: 2 Saucers - excellent condition, no damage noted2 Saucers - one minuscule nibble each to the glaze on the underside of the rim1 Saucer - 1/2" pottery crease in the face center from manufacture and one 1/8" shallow flake and one tiny glaze nibble to rim underside, see pictures.
