Condition: Nice condition. The mirror scale is missing some reflective material and small chip from the glass on the bottom of the scale. The scale above the 12 mark is in great shape (see 1st photo). The blemishes in the photos beyond the first photo are reflections in the mirror. The scale is a glass mirror with a millimeter scale 12 cm long etched on its surface. This enables the operator to see the reflection of the pointer in the mirror and thus eliminate parallax. The spring is made of steel piano wire with a loop at both ends. The weight hanger is of proper size to hold ordinary slotted laboratory weights. No international or overseas sales. Shipping must be within the contiguous United States of America. The item will be packed with extra care and sent via FedEx. The item may be returned for any reason within 30 days. Should the buyer choose to return the item, the buyer must package the item in the same manner as the item was shipped to the buyer, and the buyer must also insure the item for the full amount. All return postage and insurance costs are the responsibility of the buyer. The carrier for the return MUST be the same carrier that delivered the package (FedEx). Should the item be damaged by the carrier (FedEx), the item MUST be given to FedEx for return to the seller (no cost to the buyer). The wooden ruler is NOT included in this auction or sale.
