Antique Red Laquer Chinese Wedding Basket, Wood with Decorative Black Carving. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. I know nothing about Chinese wedding baskets other that they were used to carry a bride's dowry on her big day. That said, this is a beautiful, clearly very old basket in its own right. A real conversation piece. Measures 13" long, 10"wide and 13" tall with handle. Wonderful patina. Iron staves are loose but intact. Judging by the style and age elements, could even be from late 1800's.
