Antique sewing scissors made in the USA - $4 - (Loves Park, IL)

two pairs of small sewing scissors made in the USA skillfully engraved on the handles in a pattern resembling that of a serpent. one pair is silver and the other is gold. They are being sold as a unit, a set together for one price. They date back to the 1890's and were using by many prewar seamstresses and tailors. Each pair is uniquely crafted and engraved. n Each pair also works using it's original hinge or single screw which is well in tact. They open freely and cut with ease. They are impressive little tools or instruments that have aged wonderfully well.
