vintage Ceramic/Pottery Trinket box with Squirrel "Marie" 50's? - $30 - (Brighton, MA)

Vintage trinket box/bowl with lid. Features a squirrel with a very bushy tale as a handle. Cute, from the coloring and style my guess is the 1950's but I don't know. It is signed roughly "Marie" on the bottom. Likely handmade & painted. Great shape, not seeing any chips.
