The Gien Factory in France has manufactured beautiful china. The "Les Tartes" pattern wasmanufactured in 1991 and designed by Marie-Pierre Boitard. It is a complete set of 6 saladdessert plates which highlight 6 different fruit tartes. They are each 7 3/4" round with scalloped edges. There is a 1" border around the outer part of each plate and highlightsthe fruit and leaves. The inside design is 4 1/4" side and includes a 2 1/2" x 1 3/4" fruit tart. The bottom of the circle states Tarte Aux and the fruit name.
