Vintage 1950s R&B Nanette Type Doll - $55 - (Quincy, CA)
This is a beautiful 1950's R&B Nanette Type Doll . She's has Copper colored Hair/ Wig with blue/green eyes and a beautiful high color face. Eyes open and close, and she has great eyelashes. She is a hard plastic strung doll with 5 joints. Her joints are nice and tight. Marked R& --- on back of neck, hard to read the rest.In all of my research...she appears to be a Nannette doll but can't be 100% sure Measures approx 14" H She is in excellent "vintage" condition. Has a small dot below one eye and a small fade spot on lower lip (see pics). Her hair is nice and clean, could use some styling, has a small area of glue near the ears. Clothes are clean and free of any damage that I can see. Her outfit is not original to this doll. The dress is large for this doll but ribbon keeps it nice and in place.
