Beautiful antique oriental chest - intricate weave, hand painted, brass bands on the corners and lock. I purchased this item from an antique dealer. It was described at an Antique Oriental Chest from the 1800's and was priced at $225.00. I cannot authenticate the age. Details - Hinged top - beautiful hand painted scene (see photo #2 & 3), 2 hand painted scenes on the front (see photos #11 & 12. Handles on the sides. Measurements - 20 1/4" wide, 13" deep and 9 3/4" tall (51.43 cm wide, 33.02 cm deep and 24.76 cm tall)
