Mel Odom's gorgeous creation, 15.5" Violet Waters, from an Ashton Drake worldwide limited edition of 350 (200 were at this signing event!). 'Swingtime Serenade" Special Edition 2002 Toy Fair is the white gown version. She's never been removed from her box, and is quite lovely to look at with her up swept hair coif and gently flowing pristine white gown against her cocoa cream skin tone, which has not discolored with age (as later models did). Violet Waters was produced with a storyboard as the first African American Hollywood singing sensation and dear friend to Gene Marshall. She comes with her postcard signed by both the costume designer Tim Kennedy and famed Gene Fashion World creator, Mel Odom, during this 2002 FOA Schwartz Manhattan Toy Fair, no additional COA's were included at the event. All new in original box and she is in excellent unused condition. The outer box has yellow discoloration on it, which is not visible on the interior and there are no odors or other issues.
