This is a ticket to Bert Parks' Bandstand, a daytime radio show that originated for an older audience who preferred the Big Band sound of music over Rock 'n Roll. Skitch Henderson gave them that sound. Parks is best remembered for hosting the Miss America Pageant, where he would sing "There She Goes, Miss America" to the winner. The ticket is dated for Wednesday, Sept. 17, at Radio City Studios in New York City. The show was replaced at the end of that year by The Price is Right. Thanks for looking!
