(Set of two) late 19th century English mahogany document box and writing slope. The re-crafted document box (was a writing slope) is of solid flaming mahogany with brass mounts including campaign handles with beautiful lacquer gloss finished patina. It measures 16" wide x 10" deep x 6" high. The mahogany writing slope has brass inlay and light green suede skiver. It measures 14.5" wide x 9" deep x 6" high. Both items are in very good antique condition with age and use related blemishes as expected. Please ask all questions before bidding !
