Antique ca 1900 18k Yellow Gold & Seed Pearl Sword Style Kilt pin by Birks. This 18k yellow gold pin measures approximately 3 1/2 inches wide x 3/4 inch at longest point. The pin has a sword shaped design with a protective cover and safety chain. The cover removes, replaces and secures nicely. The pin also has a decorative sword "handle" made up of leaves and seed pearls. There are (20) seed pearls ranging in size from .75mm round up to 2.75mm round. The pearls have a rose overtone and medium luster. The inside of the pin is stamped "Birks 18K" (as pictured). 8.2 grams / 5.3 dwt. This gorgeous pin also comes with a cute, antique, collectible box!
