LARGE antique Shaker Pantry Box, wood cheese round box. Size: 15 inches across and 5.25 inches deep. Decoupaged with whimsical bits of wallpaper.The designs are cut out of vintage wallpaper in gold and green colors that were prevalent in American Kitchen decor during the 70s.Images include a swallow bird on the center of the lid, some butterflies throughout the box, a couple of cuties are framed into the lid with popsicle stick framing. The edges have been encircled with geometric lace, both inside and the along bottom edge of the box. The lid fits perfectly and the box has no odor from the glazed wood treatment. It is sturdy and would be useful as a sewing box, hat box or storing any number of things as well as a pantry box. It is lightweight and will be shipped in a sturdy box.
