Speedotron Black Line 4803 Power Pack (4800 w/s) &Universal Light head model 106 This flash combination has been used for many years by myself, a recently retired school photographer, to take panorama graduation class pictures of student along with a Fuji G617 panorama camera. This 4800 watt/second flash combination works fine, being that it is rugged and well built. It has 2 recycle modes: fast at 4seconds & slow at 9 seconds to full power. Unit beeps when fully charged. Other features include: 3 f/stop variable over all power control, asymmetrical selector multiplies head power combination for 6 head outlets including 2 special high power, 4800 w/s, outlets for the Universal Model 106 light head, which has a built in cooling fan, 18 foot connection cord and fits on a 5/8 inch light stand. Unit is 120 volt AC & has a 6foot power cord. Included is a small,old case to carry the light head, the protector cover for the flash tube and the 7 inch reflector which has 2 very small dents that do not adversely affect any thing. Look at the photos closely. There are some paint scratches on the power pack, light head and its case from years of use, but they do not affect anything except “looks”. Before I bought the light head, someone applied duct tape to it. Some of the old, hard,dried tape “glue” is still on the light head and can been seen in the photos. It does not affect anything except the “looks”. If bought new this equipment would cost over $3000.00. Shipping is to the lower 48 states only. Power pack weighs 42 lbs. & light head with case weighs 14 lbs. Boxing and padding for shipment should add additional weight to each. I am thinking two shipping boxes would work best. This equipment is now located close to Washington, DC, & will probably need to be shipped by UPS if the weight is too much for the postal system.
