Sterling puffy heart bracelet c.1940s-1950s - $50 - (Clinton, MI)

This is a nice example of a what's known as “puffy heart” jewelry. The bracelet has four hearts, all of which are marked, STERLING. The chain is unmarked but could be sterling. Three of the hearts have a floral/vine theme. The fourth heart is the most important and has the words, “YOUR HEART FOR KEEPS”. It was used and has a well developed patina that you can see with a loupe, but is in overall very good vintage condition. There are no cracks or dents in any of the hearts. The hearts measure approximately 1/2” x 9/16”. The bracelet measures approximately 6 5/8” in length, which is less than the standard 7 1/4” of today. We couldn't find another bracelet like this on the internet.
